i’ve been meaning to bitch about that for a while. also, i’m SO GLAD you mentioned the $CARRIERNAME being slapped in the top bar of iOS. ridiculous! what a waste of space!
the Android notifications system is so much better. i was using my iOS5 iPod Touch the other day and got very very annoyed that the calendar notifications can’t be removed from the notifications bar. it’s ridiculous!!!

I’ve noticed another anti-Android meme developing. This one is against Notification Icons, a feature that iOS lacks and I miss it quite a bit on my iPhone.
Nevermind the Siri rip-off, what makes this so very Android is all that junk in the status bar in the screenshots.
